This was supposed to be a blog about homesteading. A journey of sorts, from New York City, to the back country of rural Tennessee. It was supposed to be about all my adventures in planting things and living at least partially off the land. Of building things and providing for my family. Of being able to survive at least some level of economic uncertainty, by redevoting myself to the more natural skills I used in my youth. ((Emergency) Backup Plant, get it? GET IT!?!?! OK, fine.) To be fair, some of those things have happened. But what has inspired me to finally move this out of the 90% of the todo list that never gets done on a homestead to the 10% that does was that I, uh, finally found a manicure that can survive this lifestyle? Dip powder nails are where it’s at. And so, by popular demand, I shall be creating a page full of products and creators I love, and blogging about my latest and greatest discoveries. Because you have to have nice nails when you’re processing ducks, right?
